The Modern Age started in 1789. In the 19th century there were many important changes and inventions. This was called the Industrial Revolution.  

STEAM TRAINS were invented.

Many people moved from THE COUNTRYSIDE TO TOWNS AND CITIES. FACTORIES (F脕BRICAS) appeared. They used MACHINES (m谩quinas) to make lots of products.

Diego Vel谩zquez was a Spanish painter. Las Meninas is an oil painting by the Spanish painter Diego Vel谩zquez. The painting hangs in the Museo del Prado in Madrid. It was painted in 1656, 17th century A.D.

The Early Modern Age started in 1492. In that year Christopher Columbus discovered America. 


I want more! The revolution in reading in the eighteenth century ...The printing press (imprenta) was invented in the 15th century. There were more books. Two of history´s most famous writers (escritores) lived in this period: Shakespeare and Cervantes. 
Other spanish writers such as Lope de Vega and artists such as El Greco and Diego Vel谩zquez also lived then. 
This period in Spain is called the GOLDEN AGE.



In 1789 there was a REVOLUTION in France.

El objetivo de un equipo en cualquier deporte es ganar esa competici贸n. Para conseguirlo, cada uno tiene que hacer su trabajo y ayudar a los otros. En un verdadero equipo se consiguen las cosas con esfuerzo y la ayuda de todos. Por eso, los 茅xitos y los fracasos igualmente son de todos. 


Cuando trabajes en equipo aprende a pedir ayuda y a dejarte ayudar por los dem谩s. Comparte ideas, aporta aquello que pueda ser bueno para todos. Unidos somos m谩s fuertes; no importa si no lo hacemos todo bien, siempre habr谩 algo en cada uno de nosotros que nos convertir谩 en especiales. 

Esa es la esencia del trabajo en equipo: la riqueza y la diversidad de sus miembros.

Dialogar no es solamente hablar con los dem谩s. Podemos hablar desde muy peque帽os, pero tardamos a帽os en aprender a comunicarnos correctamente con el otro. Dialogar no significa discutir ni imponer nuestras ideas, sino de compartir palabras, los momentos de participaci贸n y saber escuchar al otro. 

Saber dialogar nos permite conocer a las personas con las que convivimos. Por eso, cuando hablamos sin escuchar, cuando callamos algo que queremos expresar o cuando no tratamos de entender lo que nos quieren decir, perdemos la comunicaci贸n.

CONDENSATION: water vapour changes into liquid water. Water vapour condenses to form clouds. It is the opposite of evaporation.

PRECIPITATION: falling water such as rain, snow or hail.

RUNOFF: water collects in rivers, lakes and makes its way back to the ocean. 

EVAPORATION: liquid water changes into water vapour when it is heated by the sun.
